i never knew the odds were so against us.
only one percent of america has ever completed completed a marathon. one percent. the other ninety-nine? they are the utterly broken down on the side of the road at mile 15, the people who believe that running isn’t “their thing,” the majority that continue to stay plopped on their couches, and those who are simply afraid to step outside their comfort zone.
